Human Energy Systems II – Senior Secondary

Human Energy Systems II continues the study of energy for advanced students 16-18 years in age. The  Human Energy Systems II - Tool I  can be used to illustrate the relationship between the intensity of exercise and  the time that an individual can continue to exercise. It also illustrates the interaction between the aerobic and the anaerobic systems.  In Human Energy Systems II, anaerobic energy is broken down into two types of energy (Glycolytic & Phosphagen). The tool uses bicycle races to demonstrate the principals of human energy.

Human Energy Systems II - Tool 2 simulates an individual running to determine aerobic fitness, simulates the performance that each human energy system makes during maximum running, and estimates the total energy required to perform the run.
